THE VIEWFINDER PANORAMIC PHOTO GALLERY showcases the work of landscape photographer Jeff Heads. Born in Newcastle and having lived all of his life in the North East of England, Jeff's passion and enthusiasm for photographing
the North East's landscapes and cityscapes was rekindled with the purchase of a specialist panoramic camera. Frustrated by the limitations of standard cameras using a wide angle lens, he imported a panoramic camera that has an angle of view similar to that of the human eye. This enabled him to capture
his native region from new angles and with dramatic new perspectives. As well as being a photographer Jeff has spent much of his working life in a darkroom, where his ability, printing his own panoramic landscape images, has earned him both a First and Second Place in the Landscape Category in the prestigious
Fujifilm/PPLA UK Colour Printer of the Year Awards. |
